Jose has done a lot of work for my properties in NY and CT since 2019. He is such a trust worthy person who can handle any construction related work easily.

Jose & crew were/are fantastic to work with.
They worked really hard gutting & fitting the kitchen.
Jose's attention to detail is flawless. He takes pride in his work and always cleans up after a days work.
We would highly recommend J.G. General Construction and look forward to him doing future projects with us

JG General Construction remodeled my kitchen and powder room recently, and I am extremely happy with the end results! (and I’m generally not easily pleased). The job was completed on time and on budget. I absolutely recommend JG for home projects. I personally don’t plan to use anyone else for my future projects unless these guys retire. I had vetted 6 contractors before meeting and deciding to go with JG Construction. From the initial meeting, I was impressed with Jose, the contractor. He was punctual, professional, and had a great energy about him. After I explained what I wanted done, he added the builder perspective to my plan and walked me through how he’d go about achieving it. The job required knocking down a wall, demo to the studs and building out the kitchen and powder room from scratch. The estimate and timing were reasonable, and I received high quality work. The JG team was cohesive with each member appearing to have their respective specialization for drywall, paint, tile work, etc. The tile work is masterful! Very impressed with the precision with which the tiles were installed. Absolutely love the results of the kitchen backsplash and entire tile feature wall in powder room! The guys worked full days, started early 7:30ish in the morning, and were consistent throughout the job. They protected my space and property before starting, worked neatly, and cleaned up at the end of each day. I appreciated that Jose would involve me whenever he uncovered an issue and we’d work out the plan for resolving (ie underlying ceiling, window, and old light electrical issues). Jose does a QC of the team’s work regularly and quality standard was consistently held high throughout the process. I enjoyed the team being in my home and around family during the project, but was happy to have it completed. I have lost count of the compliments I receive on the kitchen and powder room. I am highly satisfied. JG was worth every penny!

I have been using Jose’s services for about two years now and at this point wouldn’t use another company. He does great work, prices are reasonable and he is very reliable, trustworthy and professional. I am very happy I found him. It’s a great feeling to have a contractor you can count on. I highly recommend this company.
